Handshake nears $1bn in revenue

When we first met Pari, fresh out of Imperial Uni in London it was clear from the start that he was a special type of founder. Fast forward a few years; Ali led Flow’s seed round, then we doubled down out of our early-stage fund and have been highly active on the board supporting Pari ever since. This included the move to SF and a fantastic Series A with Sequoia in which Odyssey was the other major investor alongside the founders of Stripe and Unity.
As Roleof who led the round at Sequoia says; “A new manufacturing generation is emerging, and Pari and his team are leading the way…Flow is poised to have generational impact”. We agree…. -

Viridi is proud to announce Vireya™, a breakthrough product that turns CO₂ into one of the most widely used building blocks in everyday essentials — from dishwashing liquids to bodywash and cosmetics.
Vireya is palm-oil free, contains zero Dioxane (a nasty chemical found in almost all surfactants about to regulated against globally), is 10x milder than current cleaning products that we use every day, and takes 70% less CO2 to make. Incredible!
We led Viridi’s seed round and have invested and been on the board ever since. They are aiming to be the ARM for the trillion $ chemical industry and are well on the way. We can’t wait to see what Dan and his amazing team will do next…
